Come to eat
or come to cook

Rice to Meet You is two things in the same place.

We cook all day: rice dishes and tapas in the restaurant, non-stop from 1pm to 11pm.

If you'd rather do it yourself, come in the evening. Sofrito, stock, socarrat, all step by step in the paella workshops at 6pm, 8pm and 10pm.

No cooking experience needed, just the wish to enjoy good food and try something different.

What a paella workshop with us looks like

Step 01

You arrive and we toast

We welcome you with a glass of cava and walk you through the ingredients you'll use. They're already prepped: here you cook, you don't chop vegetables.

Step 02

The sofrito starts

Guided step by step, you make paella's main base: the sofrito. Then we guide you through the salmorreta and the stock. Every step gets explained before you take it.

Step 03

Rice goes on the fire

This is the delicate part. You learn to read the rice and chase the socarrat without going too far.

Step 04

You sit down to eat

You enjoy the paella you just cooked, with wine and dessert. Then the sobremesa.

Here everything starts from the base

We prepare our stocks, sofritos and bases every day in the restaurant, slowly and from scratch. While you cook your paella, you can see exactly where the flavour comes from.

Workshops are twelve people maximum. That way we can really be there with you, watch your paella closely, and help whenever it's needed.

If something goes wrong, we'll tell you. And, most of all, we'll show you how to fix it.

LOVED IT! A friend recommended this place as it's something different than just a normal restaurant and to be honest it exceeded our expectations. It's kind of an experience, the host greeted us nicely, explained each step to cook together, cava and wine and snacks in between.

Meravigliosa sorpresa. Un'ottima paella che vedi cucinare davanti a te. Ambiente semplice e informale, ma allegro. Prezzi onesti. Da provare.

Before you book

Do I need to know how to cook?
No. Most people who come have never made a paella. We guide you every step of the way and never leave you on your own.
What language is the workshop in?
Spanish and English. We adapt to whoever's in the room that night, and if it's mixed we run both. There's also audiovisual support in French, Italian, German and Chinese.
What's included in the price?
The €69 covers the prepped ingredients, a welcome glass of cava, a tapa while you cook, two different wines — one during the cooking and one with the paella — and dessert.
How long does it last?
Two and a half hours, sobremesa included. We start at 6pm, 8pm or 10pm.
How many of us will there be?
Twelve people maximum per session. From eight, you can book out the whole workshop for your group.
Can you cater for allergies or diets?
Yes. We can adapt many allergies, intolerances and diets if you let us know in advance. Tell us your case before booking so we can confirm we can handle it safely.
